Eva Bell, commonly known as Tempus, accidentally traveled far into the future, to the year 2099. Still new to her time-altering powers, she was unable to return home and sought training with the Sorcerer Supreme of that time: her old X-Men teammate, Magik. She spent seven years in the future honing her powers, eventually starting a life, marrying, and having a child.
