Magik convinced Cyttorak that Cain Marko is being used by the Serpent, and isn’t causing destruction for Cyttorak’s glory. Convinced, Cyttorak offered the role of Juggernaut to Magik. Colossus stepped in and assumed the responsibility instead since he didn’t want to further damn his sister’s soul.
