The Guardians of the Globe are against Mastermind, a telepath who could control people against their will. They were about to lose as the hapless civilians under Mastermind figured out how to remove the devices from the Guardians that shields them from Mastermind’s powers. Invincible saved the day by flying 500 yards on top of Mastermind, away from his range, and dropped rocks on his head to knock him out.
