Conan the Barbarian went back in time, with the help of Kang the Conqueror, when the sorcerer Kulan Gath was a mere boy. Conan saved Kulan from the evil sorcerer who purchased him from the slave market and trained him in the ways of the sword, thereby changing Kulan’s fate of becoming a monstrous sorcerer in the future. After Kulan was tested by that age’s sorcerer supreme, the boy proved that he has indeed forsaken all magic and chose the way of the warrior. Satisfied, the sorcerer supreme and Conan bade their leave of the boy.
