It was a gradual process, but Superman is now starting to act like a complete dictator. And good to see that Hal Jordan, despite wearing a different ring color now, is still exhibiting that rebellious streak. I think it makes sense that they used Hal in this panel to show just how low Superman has fallen. If Hal Jordan starts becoming insubordinate, maybe take a step back and see how much of a douche you’ve become.
