We’re used to seeing Wolverine, X-23 or Deadpool heal from grievous injuries. But there’s really something different when you see others get hurt despite knowing that they’ll never die, or will heal rapidly through other means. Hope’s a seasoned battle veteran but I don’t think she ever experienced being shot multiple times in the legs, or having her eyes and noses cut out. Just brutal.
