I was really on edge reading this sequence. I’ve started liking Negan’s redemption as a character, especially when he killed the leader of the Whisperers, and then saved Rick Grimes during the Whisperers’ assault on Alexandria. It seemed like Negan was sabotaging his own progress when he started fixing the new bat.
