Darth Vader brings Sabe, Padme’s handmaiden, before the Emperor. She thought she influenced Vader enough to turn against the Emperor by reminding him of his life as Anakin Skywalker but it backfired, as the Emperor explained that it merely reminded Vader of his weakness. As a test, Palpatine had Sabe fight against 2 of his Royal Guardsmen. She fought well and ended the fight by ducking behind the Emperor as the guardsmen fired shots towards them. The Emperor deflected the shots and attacked his guardsmen with his Force lightning. Good use of terrain for Sabe. It’s believable that she can’t defeat those 2 battle hardened guardsmen and had to resort to other means to end the fight.
Also disappointed that Sabe, coming from the planet Naboo, did not bring up Palpatine’s history since he was previously the senator from the same planet.
