Wonder Woman went up against Giganta, who was being secretly empowered by the sorceress Circe. Just seconds away from taking down Giganta with her lasso, Wonder Woman was intercepted by Silver Swan, sent by Circe, who pinned her to the Washington Monument. This gave Giganta the precious seconds she needed to regroup and deliver a massive punch to Wonder Woman, sending her and Silver Swan crashing to the ground. Concerned for her foe’s well-being, Wonder Woman immediately went to Silver Swan’s side to check on her. Meanwhile, Giganta severed the Washington Monument from its foundations and tried to slam it into Wonder Woman, with no regard for Silver Swan’s safety.
Throughout all this, Doctor Psycho and Angle Man were also meddling in the fight. Just before Giganta performed her attack, Doctor Psycho, boosted by Angle Man’s angler, managed to penetrate Wonder Woman’s mental defenses and commanded her to stand still, intending for her to take the brunt of Giganta’s attack. However, their plan failed. Wonder Woman was able to catch the giant monument with her bare hands and then hurled it like a javelin into Giganta, winning the fight.
All in all, it was a 5 vs 1 fight and still Wonder Woman prevailed.
