Never got the chance to read about Artemis before the New 52 and Rebirth. I just learned from this that Bana-Mighdall was in the desert. I always thought it was just some part of Themyscira, or a random sect of Amazonians from the island. How interesting to find out that Amazons can choose their own pantheon of gods to worship. In their case, I’m guessing it’s Egyptian?
