I love this big reveal about the Indigo Lanterns. They’re actually a group created by Abin Sur to help him defeat the Guardians of the Universe in the event that they turn evil. The Indigo Lantern’s ability to teleport anywhere in the galaxy, as well as their unique ability to channel the powers of the other corps, suits them well in battling the Guardians.
The added bonus of them reformed criminals is just bonus.
