Superman rushes to his home in Smallville to check up on his parents during the zombie outbreak. He finds to his sorrow that his father, Jonathan Kent, has been infected. With nothing else to do, Superman locks his zombie father back into the barn and flies off with his mom.

  1. This is quite an emotional moment for Superman that i think they should have paused on, but also why did it even happen at all? Jonathan Kent isn’t exactly using the internet. Unless this virus is broadcasted on the news too, Jonathan isn’t going to see it.

    • You’re don’t know that Pa Kent wasn’t on the Internet. Just because he’s a Kansas farmer doesn’t mean he wasn’t using a smartphone or laptop. I live in a rural area and farmers are just as tech savy as everyone else. Tractors can be programmed with GPS coordinates so the plow a field on their own. The guy “driving” is along for the ride and listening to XM radio.

    • I didn’t say farmers in general don’t. I just mean Jonathan Kent doesn’t typically in Superman lore.

  2. Did he lock him in or zap him with his heat vision as he closed the door? I’m on the fence about it. His father is dead, but it’d be hard to put him down while looking at him. If he left him “alive” in the cellar, then I bet that decision will come back to bite him in the butt – pun intended.
