Superman and Wonder Woman flew by Bludhaven after Heartless engineered a prison breakout in the city. By the time they arrived, Nightwing and the Titans have already rounded up majority of the dangerous escaped prisoners. They remarked that this further affirms their belief that their decision of asking Nightwing to join and lead the Justice League is correct. Batman would later add his agreement to the invitation.
Goes to show that in every version of the DC, whether it’s pre-Crisis, New 52 or Rebirth, Nightwing always finds himself in the ranks of the Justice League sooner or later.
