It’s a simple thing, but I like how this fight establishes that Aquaman and Mera, despite being mostly viewed as water-type heroes, can handle themselves well in a land fight. Mera’s known for being able to control water but here she’s showing her super strength by ripping a tank’s cannon without breaking a sweat. Aquaman, for his part, is leaping like Ang Lee’s Incredible Hulk and taking down attack helicopters from the air.
