I still don’t get how Black Manta could go toe to toe with Aquaman, a hero with super strength and one step close invulnerability. I don’t begrudge Black Manta his ruthlessness, his superb planning skills and such. But come one, a fist fight with a super-powered individual? He’d be pulverized. Why would he even engage Aquaman in melee combat? I imagine he’d keep his distance and either use pawns or gadgets to keep Aquaman at bay.
