I love discussions like this — about the whole soul and consciousness thing. My take is it’s still Cyborg. So what if his consciousness was transferred to a cyborg body? It’s still him! We’re all the sum of our experiences and memories anyway after all.
To put it another way: I slept last night and I woke up today. I am no longer the person I was yesterday, I’m something more. Later tonight whatever I am will cease and a new me will be born tomorrow.
