Normally I’d say Superman or Wonder Woman alone can take on Black Adam, but in this fight they have Green Lantern Dinah Lance to help since a single scratch from Black Adam is strong enough to break Wonder Woman or Superman’s skin, turning them into zombies. But even Dinah was not enough here and seeing that the three couldn’t contain Black Adam, Superboy, Superman’s son, and Wonder Girl, decided to join the fray and help restrain Black Adam.
Lex Luthor’s plan to contain Black Adam worked. Restrained by 5 strong meta humans, Wonder Woman was able to use her lasso of truth to force Black Adam to say the magical name of Shazam, turning him into a human. The next step of the plan was to snap his neck (similar to Maxwell Lord?) to prevent him from turning into his super powered self again. Superman changed that part of the plan by using his x-ray and heat vision to perform a micro surgery, severing Black Adam’s vocal cords.
