This is a perfect example of the phrase “fight fire with fire”. Hal Jordan remembers from his previous bonding with Parallax that the Spectre was afraid of the former. Ganthet summons all four batteries of the Green Lantern from Earth and unleashes Parallax, whom they divided after the events of Sinestro Corps War.
