Heartless easily lost to Blockbuster in this round. But then I suppose that’s because he wasn’t serious and underestimated Blockbuster, as he later admitted. He didn’t go in for a fight and wanted to negotiate the purchase of Bludhaven from Blockbuster, but the latter was not in the mood for diplomacy and surprised Heartless with a thrown chair and launching him outside the window of a sky scraper.
Heartless would survive though, and I believe this is the first time we see that he’s some sort of cyborg. I see what look like usb ports in his arm. And turns out he needs a constant supply of hearts to replace what he’s using, so that’s the reason for his MO of killing people and taking their hearts – he really does need them to survive.
Oh, this was also the first meeting between Heartless and Blockbuster.
