It seemed at first that Big Barda deserted her lover, Mister Miracle, at the thick of the fighting. It turns out she went back to Apokolips and enlisted the aid of the Furies and Darkseid’s minions to help the Justice League. We later find out that it came with a price, Barda made a pact to return to the Furies if they agreed to join the fight and protect Mister Miracle.
