And so Injustice Gods Among Us Year 5 finally ends. It’s a bit underwhelming but we all know how it ends anyway, the game tells us which characters survive and the comic series has just been telling us how the other characters died, or how the very few managed to escape and hide.

Batman tries to give us a short summary of what Superman’s most heinous crimes for the past 5 years: A merciless massacre of Green Arrow, shooting Black Canary with heat vision, a very brutal fight with Renee Montoya, and snapping Hawkman’s neck with a vicious punch.

Or what about that time when he brought Atlantis to the Sahara desert to force Aquaman’s surrender, or that moment where he was powered with the entire planet’s fear via a Sinestro Corps ring and he drove Ganthet and Mogo into the sun?

And perhaps the most personal blow to Batman: releasing the psychotic killer Victor Zsasz and ordering him to kill Alfred Pennyworth.
