Even though Batman says so, I don’t understand why half Kryptonian would be more powerful than full Kryptonian, unless Superboy’s human half allows him to absorb more sunlight?

  1. It might have something to do with the fact that, since he is native from Earth and was actually exposed to yellow sunlight from day one, his body is more adapted to Earth’s environment ; thus, while he retains Kryptonian properties, his greater familiarity allows him, not necessarily to absorb more radiation, but to process it more efficiently in order to maximise his potential.

  2. It’s weird, in young justice Superboy is weaker(and doesn’t have all of superman’s abilities) because of being half kryptonian half human.

    1. Well, Conner-Superboy is a clone of Superman and Luthor. There may be imperfections in his celles, since he’s not “authentic”. It’s kinda like forcing human cells and Kryptonian cells to coexist, knowing those aren’t even pure cells, but cloned ones. However, Jon-Superboy is his own individual, born naturally, so he might be seen as genetically “perfect”.

    1. My Convergence memory is hazy but I think the gist is… Superman and Lois were trapped under a dome created by Telos, which rendered all meta-humans powerless. With his powers gone, Superman was able to have “normal” alone time with Lois.
