The Justice League of America was a team of super heroes founded by Amanda Waller and Steve Trevor, completely separate from the original Justice League. What Waller didn’t tell the members was that each of them was selected due to their skills that could take down a specific member of the Justice League in case they ever went rogue. This was put to the test when the Justice League went to Kahndaq, which was restricted to everyone, in pursuit of Shazam. In order to prevent an international crisis, Waller sent in the Justice League of America.
